Welcome!
Welcome to the blog of the refuge Branchino Lake. The small structure, owned by the Province of Bergamo, located atop the Alpe Neel (Valcanale, Slate, BG) Branchino just below the lake at an altitude of 1780 m, is currently managed by the Association ARDES slate.
As volunteers, we are trying to keep the shelter open as possible during the summer, but for now the structure is closed in winter. Watch this site to find out the situation to date!
With the snow, you can have a nice tour with snowshoes or skis (see routes), or rent a cottage low Neel, also managed by the Association for a long weekend with friends. Check the weather Harp (see link in ) and the Avalanche Bulletin!
