Katesplayground Full Seys
An easy route and at the same time very attractive. Leave the car at the parking located near the last bend before the Passo Rolle, climbing a dirt road right up the road that leads to Rifugio Capanna Cervino (Alt. 2,082 m) and continues to Baita Segantini
(H 2170 mt) about 40 minutes before departure. Continuing along the road you will reach a junction, take the path that climbs to the left and complete the tour of the mountain and back to Costazza Ref Capanna Cervino. The path is easy and feasible without significant difficulties.
dominated by the path the Cimon della Pala (Alt 3129 m), the top of Vezzana (Alt. 3,192 m) and Mount Castellaz (Alt. 2,333 m) that form a sort of natural amphitheater. If up to Baita Segantini the horizon is "polluted" by a lift the rest of the trail offers an unspoiled landscape rich in ideas and photography.
Worked around Mount Costazza, before declining to
Ref Shack Matterhorn, the view becomes very large especially to the west and therefore ideal to photograph the sunset.
The area is often in the summer and then recommend to go there, to enjoy it in solitude, or in early spring or late fall. The photographs included in this post were taken on November 22, 2009. The area was already the first snow fall and the lift was already in operation despite the lack of snow. It was necessary to put a little care when crossing the tracks still uncrowded.
Here you can see a short sequence of photographs taken along the route.
